Info Vias

Info Vias is the official traffic information app for Madeira Island, developed by WOWSystems for the Regional Roads Authority (DRE). Available free on iOS and Android, the app has become an essential tool for over 20,000 drivers who use it daily.

The app provides real-time access to road conditions across Madeira's regional roads under DRE jurisdiction, including roads managed by VIALITORAL and VIAEXPRESSO concessionaires. Drivers get immediate access to traffic constraints, road closures, ongoing works, and weather conditions affecting circulation.

Key features include an interactive map with georeferenced visualization of all constraints, push notification system for real-time alerts, filters by incident type and geographic area, and an event history that helps plan trips.

The app has been widely praised by users, with a 4.5-star rating on app stores, recognized as a significant contribution to road safety and mobility in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The Regional Government publicly highlighted the app as an essential tool for the region's drivers.

With over 10,000 downloads and active daily usage, Info Vias demonstrates how mobile technology can serve the community, improving the driving experience and contributing to safer roads in Madeira.
